About Me

My mission is simple:
to educate, to inspire,
to coach, to motivate

I educate. I believe that knowing why your body needs and responds to different foods is just as important as how that food tastes. Equally important is knowing which foods you should be eating and which foods may cause your body harm. I inspire you how to make the right choices, I coach you to find your results and I motivate you to create meals that you'll enjoy so that you'll reap the benefits of  enjoying a healthy lifestyle. I stand behind what I do and I am passionate about creating a life of health.

I'd like to help you create a life of health as well.

Foodie

nounSlang.

1. a person keenly interested in food,

"To be a foodie is not only to like food, but to be interested in it. Just as a good student will have a thirst for knowledge, a foodie wants to learn about food. A foodie will never answer the question "What are you eating" with "I don't know." There are some basic traits of being a foodie, as there are basic traits that come with all labels. Generally, you have to know what you like, why you like it, recognize why some foods are better than others and want to have good tasting food all or certainly most of the time. This doesn't mean that you can't eat flaming hot Cheetos every now and again, but it does mean that you don't fool yourself into thinking that it's a nutritionally balanced meal."        -- Slashfood.com

My Story

I wish I could say my passion for healthy eating led me to be a nutritionist, but it was the other way around. Healthy eating was more of a hobby, or to put it more truthfully, trying to find healthy options that were satisfying.  I pursued my Nutrition Certification to fulfill a need for my clients who wanted to lose weight. What I ended up doing was creating a fire inside me, a true passion to marry the two ideals of delicious food and healthy, balanced eating.

Now I create recipes and meal plans that are realistic. Taking what my clients have taught me; It's gotta taste good, It's gotta be simple to execute, and it's gotta be made of ingredients that are easy to track down, I've assembled an arsenal of easy to prepare recipes that won't take up your whole weekend to prep for.

Diets didn’t work for many reasons, but the biggest reason for me was taste. One of the biggest challenges I come up against with clients is cooking. You don't have to be a master chef to be on my program. It's full of fast and easy recipes that will nourish your body and soul, and help you to reach your eating goals.

YOU are not the problem!  The solutions you have tried are the problem.
